Finally, our car project has been completed! Despite some unexpected delays, we are thrilled with the result. Before diving into the details of the problems, let’s start by discussing the foil caps. I found some examples, but they protruded too much and couldn't be attached. Both Father Ho and I tried various methods to fix it, following a viewer’s suggestion to fix dents by heating them and then cooling them quickly. Despite these efforts, it was still difficult, and we eventually gave up on fixing that part ourselves. Instead, we replaced the fuel filler lid and achieved good results with the dent repair.

Interior Enhancements

On the inside of the car, we installed a cooler from the Delica and fitted a curtain to create a comfortable internal space. The effectiveness of the cooler was enhanced by partitioning the space into smaller sections using curtains. Various lighting improvements were made, making the interior brighter and more colorful. Quite a few areas required thorough cleaning, and we even replaced some fabrics with help from my dad, who did an excellent job.

Kitchen Improvements

We took apart the existing kitchen setup and replaced it with a new refrigerator and an IH cooking heater. The new refrigerator has more space but a smaller freezer, so we repurposed the old fridge for frozen goods. We also included a shower nozzle and a trash can compartment in the updated kitchen.

Electrical Wiring and Battery Issues

Upon discovering that the sub-battery wasn't charging properly, we investigated and found the issue was due to the alternator of the Caravan not being powerful enough. Upgrading the alternator is an option, albeit a costly one.

Flooring and Furnishings

Originally, we planned to use sticker-type floor protection sheets, but they didn't hold up well, so we opted for cushion flooring instead. This change made the interior more durable and easier to clean. Additionally, we included new green fabric for the cushions and special curtains to brighten up the space.

Cat and Dog Accommodations

Ensuring that our pets are comfortable and safe in the car was a top priority. We installed non-slip flooring, a system litter box for the cats to reduce odor, and various safety measures for both the pets and the car's furniture.

Final Touches

Several small but significant changes were made, including adding a table with adjustable height, ensuring the fridge and other electronics were securely fastened, and making sure the navigation system was updated to avoid routes with height restrictions.
