How to use AI images as a designer

It's pretty mind-blowing what can be created in seconds with AI image generation, but so what most of the time, I can't use these images in commercial work because anyone has the right to copy them. Human hands look weird, and producing exactly what the client demands is often impossible. Or so I thought. Over the last couple of months, I've found ways to integrate image generation tools into my workflow. If you're a graphical web designer, here's a couple of ways you can too. Firstly, generating patterns and backgrounds with AI. Mid-journey, I created a seamless pattern which I can tweak in Photoshop and tile in a background. Secondly, creating placeholder imagery when working on a project before photographers or illustrators are commissioned. You might want to include indicative imagery in your client presentations or even at the pitch stage. This can provide the basis for a brief or produce a consistent style across differing subjects and avoids endless searching for what might not even exist on stock sites.
