So we should know whether we can trust it or not.

Let's take a look at some questions I've asked chat GPT.

Chat GPT connects vectorizing to the Image Trace:

1. Create a new document - The typical step one in every tutorial.
2. Place the image.
3. Go to Object > Image Trace > Make - This won't bring up the Image Trace panel but will trace in black and white.
4. Get the Image Trace Panel - Then, choose from a variety of presets and customize.
5. Expand it - To turn it into a vector image. It correctly notes that you don’t get a perfect reproduction.

Drawing an Octagon

How do I draw an Octagon in Illustrator?

1. Select the Polygon Tool. Link the Octagon to the Polygon Tool.
2. Click where you want to place the center and set the sides to eight.

It gets messy here:

• No "Star checkbox" present.
