It is an immense pleasure to be with you, one that words can barely capture. Perhaps it is because we've spent seven beautiful days together, hasn't it? Days dedicated to praying to God, singing to Him, immersing our minds in the soul-awakening teachings of our divine guru, Parah Yoga.

Over the past week, as we meditated together, each one of us, in unique ways, felt the grace of God stirring within, uplifting us, inspiring us, and transforming us for the better. As monastics, we are deeply inspired when we see that Divine Radiance in your faces, eyes, and joyous smiles. It is especially heartening to know that through these meditations, we have strengthened that unbreakable bond that exists among us as members of Parah Yoga's worldwide spiritual family.

When we first arrived after five years, it felt like a family reunion filled with joy. Some of you shared with us how it made no difference whether you were here in person, at home, or participating from a center or a group. One devotee participating virtually from home said: "Instead of coming to God for one week, we learn to invite God fully into our everyday lives, into our homes, so He can be with us always." Another devotee insightfully shared, "It is as if a portal into Paradise swung wide open, revealing a glimpse of reality that God resides within us, and that we can invite as much of that Divine reality as possible into our lives."

Such perceptions beautifully express what our Guru tells us is the purpose of life and the goal of yoga: to regain the Lost Paradise of Soul Consciousness by which we know that we are, and have always been, one with Spirit. Today, our talk is aptly entitled "A Portable Paradise: Sustaining the Strength and Inspiration of Divine Fellowship Wherever We Go."

Let us commit to not losing that feeling of closeness with the divine presence. By continuing to practice and apply what we've learned this week, we can build on the blessings received and carry within us a portable Paradise that goes wherever we go and in whatever we do. Planning and balancing our spiritual practices with our daily responsibilities is crucial. This is why we frequently emphasize establishing a routine of meditation as it lays the foundation for spiritual life and anchors us in Soul Consciousness.

The outer balance we seek will automatically take care of itself over time because God watches and reciprocates every effort we make with deepening Soul awareness. It is important to have a conducive outer environment that supports our spiritual life. Some devotees have expressed concern about not having a supportive home environment, particularly if they are the only practicing member of the Guru's teachings. Family situations can indeed be complicated and require creative navigation of family dynamics. Fulfilling family obligations to the best of our ability, even at the cost of our meditation or spiritual practices at times, can be seen as acts of love and devotion to God.

There is nothing in this world that can keep our minds away from God. Longing to love God, even in the smallest measure, is in itself being with and loving God. God's love is all-inclusive and attentive to every one of us. As sparks of God, we must reflect the same attentiveness and love toward our loved ones. Such behavior naturally garners more support for our spiritual practices.

We have seen that spiritual tenacity and love can inspire our family and friends, allowing them to witness the positive impact of our spiritual journey. By setting an example and maintaining our spiritual commitments without imposing them on others, we can become living ambassadors of our Guru's teachings.

When it comes to spending time with people, our Guru advises that we surround ourselves with those who inspire us and lift us up. However, even if we cannot find such company, we can find it in meditation. The joy we experience in meditation can level out negativity and stress, helping us manage life's challenges with a clear mind.

Our Guru's teachings emphasize the importance of transcending the ego's dominion and expressing our soul's qualities—such as inner calmness, pridelessness, quietness, humility, kindness, and evenness of temperament. These qualities create an environment of harmony and peace around us.
