Welcome to my latest update! Today, I have an exciting new release to review from the Conjuring universe: Annabelle: Creation. Yes, that creepy doll is back to terrorize us once again in the latest chapter of the Annabelle franchise.

If you had the chance to see the original Annabelle film from 2014, you should definitely check this one out if you missed it in theaters. For what it is, I liked it. The movie follows some classic horror tropes that have been revisited many times, but it features some pretty cool jump scares and an interesting story.

The plot revolves around a couple who tragically lose their daughter in a car accident. Years later, they decide to welcome a nun and a group of orphans into their home. Everything seems fine until one of the orphans stumbles upon a forbidden room that contains none other than the infamous Annabelle doll. Once the doll is discovered, it reveals its malevolent intentions, and all hell breaks loose.

Now, let’s talk about the BLU-RAY. Unfortunately, there's no 4K release for this film. However, the presentation is still pretty decent. It features nice black levels and sharpness, albeit with a bit of softness in certain scenes. The BLU-RAY also comes with a Dolby Atmos track in 7.1 surround sound, which enhances the immersion.

For video and audio quality, I would rate both a solid 4.5 out of 5. Moreover, the BLU-RAY comes packed with several special features:
