Hello everybody! Welcome back to another video. I hope you're doing well, and I hope your week's been great. Today is Sunday, July 21st, 2024, and it's about 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. I hope you all had a productive and enjoyable weekend. As for me, it's been good, although I haven't left my apartment all day. But that will change right after I record this video; I plan to go out for a run.
Let's talk work-related things today. On the screen, you'll see a pair of boots in front of me. These are Wolverine Iron Ridge boots, size 11. They're steel-toe boots I needed to buy for work. I've only worn these a couple of times. The boots I had before were from a tactical brand and also steel-toe, but they wore out after about eight months. The front part of the old boots started to tear, and the steel toe began to show, which became quite unsafe.
The Wolverines, although slightly more expensive at $ 90, feel more reliable and sturdy. They're better built than my previous boots, which had a cheaper feel. I hope these last more than a year, unlike my old pair. Interestingly, I also found that the brand Caterpillar, known for its construction equipment, makes work boots.
These Wolverine Iron Ridge boots are not only steel-toe but also waterproof, which is essential for my job as I often work outside, even when it rains. Waterproof boots prevent that dreadful feeling of soaked socks, which was an issue with my old pair after their waterproofing failed.
Just a few specifics about these boots: the material feels more durable, and they fit comfortably. I've even taken a long walk in them to test their comfort. For those interested, I bought these from an Academy store, rushing in one evening after work when my old boots started falling apart.
In terms of design, these boots are simple yet functional. They're mostly brown with no flashy colors, making them perfect for work. They're rugged, sturdy, and should hold up well for my job.
I know it might seem odd to review work boots in a way usually reserved for designer shoes, but quality work boots are essential. Spending $ 90 might seem steep, but good shoes are an investment, especially for work.
Here’s a quick look at the boot:
Overall, these Wolverine Iron Ridge boots seem like a good purchase. They're comfortable, durable, and suitable for my work needs. If you're in the market for new work boots, they could be worth considering.
Thank you for watching and for supporting my ASMR content. Hope you found this review relaxing!
