Creation of Gods is a Chinese word that was released theatrically in China last year. In India, I think it was released here at the end of last month. Unfortunately, I couldn't see it theatrically, which was a significant miss. Now it's available digitally, and it's a fantastic movie.

The film is heavy in its making, and the VFX is top quality stuff. It is a mythology folklore fantasy historical movie set in 16th century China and is a blend of everything. All the themes discussed in the movie are Chinese mythology mixed with folkloric elements. This is a historical epic war movie blended with all these themes, and there is no escape from its elaborate production. If you say heavy, consider a cast of 10,8000 people involved in the film, including around 2,000 normal actors. The production took 10 years for pre-production and the rest of the work.

The story plot itself is impressive, but what really stands out is the visual quality. It is something that must be experienced on an IMAX screen and with 3D glasses. Watching it on a regular screen does not do justice to its grandeur. It is also one of the most expensive movies in China, boasting the highest production quality.
