Introduction

Welcome to Lindy! If you're not already familiar, Lindy is an AI automation platform that allows you to build end-to-end workflows with no coding required. Today, I'm excited to share with you a creation I built: a meeting prep assistant. This assistant is designed to help me be prepared for every meeting, sending reminders 10 minutes before any event on my calendar.

How It Works

10 minutes prior to my meeting, Lindy checks whether there’s an external email address in the attendee list. If there is, Lindy performs research on that person. She retrieves their LinkedIn profile URL, gathers information about their company, and identifies their role and title.

Next, Lindy scans my inbox for any past communication related to that individual within the last 30 days. This helps me recall any important details from previous discussions.

Following that, Lindy checks my Google Drive to see if there are any ongoing meeting notes or documents related to the attendee. If there are, she extracts both action items and relevant content to ensure that I am well-prepared for the meeting.

With all this information, Lindy generates a new meeting agenda. She incorporates details from our email exchanges, the meeting description, and the context of our past discussions. Finally, Lindy sends all of this information to me in a single email.

Real-World Example

For instance, I recently had a meeting scheduled with an attendee named Lisa. Lindy quickly found Lisa's LinkedIn profile and provided a concise summary of our previous email correspondences. The summary indicated that Lisa had contacted me for an onboarding call involving the automation of some client processes, as well as her interest in utilizing Lindy for candidate research and pre-qualification for an open position.

Moreover, Lindy compiled a list of action items from our earlier meeting, ensuring I could hold myself accountable for any outstanding tasks. She also included a new meeting agenda for our upcoming call, summarizing the key discussion points.

This process saves me a significant amount of time and ensures that I show up to every meeting prepared—all accomplished in about five minutes of setup time!
