I'm addicted to a fragrance that smells like paper. I promise I haven't lost the plot. Diptyque's new fragrance, L’eau Papier, takes inspiration from paper—the total opposite of what I would usually go for. Normally, I prefer my fragrances to punch people in the face; I like to be smelt from the other side of the room. This scent, however, is very much a personal fragrance. You wear this because you like the smell of it.

Having said that, every time I've worn it, someone's asked me what I'm wearing. I think it's because it's such a unique fragrance. Let me tell you what I think this smells like:

Initially, I get boiled rice and sesame seeds (I said it was a unique fragrance!). I also get a very clean musk and woody smell. It kind of smells like an elevated version of Molecule 01 and a grown-up version of Glossier You. I've become so addicted to this scent, but I think it's because it's like nothing I've ever smelled before.

It's available in Space NK and I would 100% recommend that you go in and smell it because it is so unique. It's kind of magical.
