Introduction

This is going to be one of the craziest tests I've ever done. The DJI Mini 4 Pro now comes with a sort-of night vision capability, which I am excited to showcase.

Starting the Test

Firstly, I began by screen recording on the remote control. After tapping on the "Go Fly" option, the adventure truly began.

ISO Settings

Currently, it’s incredibly dark, and I have the camera set to an ISO of 64000. Despite being in near total darkness, the drone's capabilities are about to amaze you.

Take Off

After performing the usual checks, I initiated the takeoff sequence.

As we ascend, the drone activates its LED light rays located underneath. This feature ensures you can clearly see the area where you are flying.

Illumination

As the drone gains altitude, the ground beneath it becomes remarkably illuminated. This lighting is excellent for navigating in low-light conditions and makes a significant difference.

Customizable Settings

The illumination can be customized. To do this, go into the settings and scroll down to the Auxiliary LED option. Here, you can set it to:

On: The light remains on continuously.
Off: The light is completely off.
Auto: The light turns on automatically when it gets dark.

Practical Use

Standing underneath the drone, it's astonishing how well-lit everything is. This lighting makes landing effortlessly precise, especially in uneven terrain.
