Hello and welcome back to my YouTube channel! Thank you for tuning in once again. This week's video is very different from any other videos that I've done previously. It's perhaps a little bit vulgar to talk about money, but I am on here talking about how much I've earned from YouTube ad revenue. Now, this is something I've been a bit reluctant to share, but at the same time, it's something I promised I would share once I hit a thousand subscribers and was able to monetize my channel. So, I have now been able to do that for two and a half months, and I wanted to show you the two full months of which I've taken revenue from it.

Sharing this with you is in the hope that it will inspire and motivate you to create a channel of your own and see what opportunities are out there for you. If not, at the very least, it should satisfy some curiosity about how much money is made from YouTube as well.

Before we get started, I just want to say thank you to everyone that watches, likes, and subscribes to my video. You're the reason that I'm earning from YouTube. This isn't some kind of brag; I wanted to share it with you so you're completely aware of what's out there in terms of earning potential on YouTube.

I started this channel last year but didn't really upload any videos. Then in February this year, I had 13 subscribers and said to myself that I'm going to go for it this year and started uploading regular and useful content. Between February and now, which is September 1st, I've hit 13,000 subscribers. I appreciate everyone, and you're the reason, as I said, that I'm able to earn from YouTube. So I appreciate everyone that watches.

My YouTube Channel's Stats

So what do we know? We know that I've got 13,000 subscribers. I averaged between 120,000 and 150,000 views per month over the last two months, and I am within the finance and property section on YouTube, which is considered quite a high-paying section in terms of ad revenue. Now, let's take a second to jump in and have a look at how much I've been earning, and I'll share it with you now.

Behind the Scenes: The Dashboard

Just before we start, I just wanted to say that because I am a finance channel at the end of the day—finance and property—I’m all about mindset and money, the finance side of things. That's why this could be useful to share with you. I've built my channel on honesty and complete transparency. I'm really not bragging. I'm proof that you can build up a channel within a matter of months with pure consistency and drive.

So right here, this is the behind screen to the YouTube dashboard. As you can see, at the beginning of the year, I quite clearly didn't have many views whatsoever; it was quite terrible. However, I've managed to build them up through pure consistency of uploading videos, sometimes uploading two or three videos a week. From there, momentum just built.

Revenue Insights

If I go over to my 28-day total and look at the revenue—which is the bit that we're here for—you can see I'm just hovering over my daily totals right now, and as you can see, it fluctuates. A low day for me now is in the 20-pound region, and the high marks are around 52-53 pound days. This is incredible because once you've made that video, whilst you've put time and effort into making it, it becomes passive from there on. Once you've uploaded it, it just sits there and does its thing.

And here I am just hovering over my different months. In June, I was only monetized for just over a week or so, which is why it's 108 pounds. Then in July, my first full month, I've made 756 pounds, which is amazing. And then in August, we're just finishing the month, and I'm on 950 pounds, which I'm really, really happy with and impressed by.
