This can be accomplished whether you're using your own uploaded images or any images available within Canva. There are two primary methods to achieve this, but it's important to note that both methods require a Canva Pro account.

Method 1: Using Background Remover

1. Upload or Select an Image: First, head over to "Elements" or your uploaded images and select the image you want to edit. For this example, we'll use an image of a dog.
2. Edit Image: Click on the selected image, which will reveal an option at the top labeled "Edit image."
3. Use Background Remover: Within the "Edit image" tab, find and click on the "Background Remover" option.
4. Wait for Processing: Give the tool a few seconds to process, and you will see the background has been successfully removed from your image.

Method 2: Using Magic Grab

1. Upload or Select an Image: Again, start by selecting the image you wish to edit from "Elements" or your uploaded images.
2. Edit Image: Click on the selected image and go back to the "Edit image" tab.
3. Select Magic Grab: Choose the "Magic Grab" option this time.
4. Brush or Click Option:
   • Brush: Manually brush over the part of the image you want to keep.
   • Click: Simply click on the part of the image you want, which in this case is the dog, and then click the "Grab" button.
5. Wait for Processing: Allow a few seconds for Canva to process the request.
6. Manipulate and Delete Background: Once processed, the background and the selected image will be two separate elements. Click on the background and delete it, leaving you with an image free from its background.
