I Grew a Faceless Instagram Account Using ONLY AI (Monetized)

AI Instagram Journey

I hired AI to help me build and monetize a faceless Instagram account as fast as possible. Follow along my journey to find out if AI could get 1 million real views and make our first one thousand dollars online or if the hype is all just one big scam.

Setting Up the Instagram Account

First, I sought advice from ChatGPT on the most popular keywords of 2023 but soon hit an obstacle – its limitations. Luckily, Bard, another AI tool, was able to provide more up-to-date information. I discovered that AI was trending significantly.

I used an AI tool called NameLix to generate names centered around AI content, settling on “AI Content Creator.” With my account set up, I turned to ChatGPT again for 100 viral scripts for Instagram reels under 30 seconds.

Creating Content with AI Tools

For the content creation process, I used three AI tools: MidJourney, 11 Labs, and Studio.DID. Here's how:

  1. MidJourney: Used a prompt to generate an image of a classy animated English butler.
  2. 11 Labs: Created an account for speech synthesis and used one of their British voices.
  3. Studio.DID: Combined the image and voice to create an animated video.

Using this process, some videos went viral, garnering over 20 million views, demonstrating the legitimacy of AI tools.

Monetizing the Instagram Account

When it was time to monetize, I turned to AI for advice. One suggested strategy was to start an AI newsletter. Inspired by the success of the Superhuman AI newsletter, I used the HubSpot AI Campaign Assistant for setup.

Steps to set up the newsletter:

  1. Created a landing page for email subscriptions with suggested points from the AI.
  2. Customized the pre-made template with our branding.
  3. Designed weekly emails with HubSpot’s pre-made newsletter template.
  4. Used Bard to generate newsletter-style emails about powerful AI tools.

Promoting the Newsletter

To gain subscribers, I used the following marketing strategies on Instagram:

  1. Posted an initial story asking viewers to subscribe.
  2. Used engaging story polls to drive more traffic.

This strategy brought in 74 new subscribers overnight.

Securing Paid Partnerships

After building an audience of 500 subscribers, I started reaching out to AI tools for partnerships. Although responses were limited due to our small size, we secured a deal with a company involving a base fee and commission for every sale.

Conclusion

Is AI legit or just a scam? The results show that while I didn’t make a million dollars, it’s possible to make money with minimal effort by leveraging AI’s hype. Creators who blend human creativity with AI technology (akin to a Centaur) are likely to succeed.
