? My PINK bedroom MAKEOVER & new updates - Part 2 *PiinkSparkles* ?
Howto & Style
Introduction
Hey cuties! It’s time to unveil the transformation of my room in part two of my renovation journey. If you remember how basic and blah my space looked before, get ready to see the magic! I’m so excited to finally share how I’ve decorated my space to reflect my personality—cute, sparkly, and a little tacky (in the best way possible)!
A Happy Space
Creating a room that feels like me has brought so much joy into my life. I wake up each day surrounded by sparkles, stuffed animals, and all things pink—it's a dream come true! I want you all to remember that it’s important to embrace what makes you happy, whether it’s a chic and classy aesthetic, boho vibes, or colorful chaos. Don’t be afraid to express yourself!
Adding a TV to the Bedroom
Today, we decided to add a TV to the room, fulfilling a long-time goal. I wanted it to match my pink theme. We carefully picked a spot to hang it, working with stud detectors and levels—but in the end, it all came together perfectly! Now, we can enjoy cozy movie nights or relax together before bed without having to stare at the empty fireplace.
New Blinds Installation
We also replaced a worn-out blind with a beautiful new wood blind that was meant to add a touch of elegance. However, I was a bit unsure about it—initially, it didn't seem to fit the aesthetic I imagined. The strings looked a bit messy, and the overall look wasn't what I had hoped for, so we decided to return it for a shorter version. The new ones looked much better, more symmetrical, and they fit nicely into the space!
Adding Pictures and Decor
Next, we tackled the blank wall that needed a pop of color. I had some pictures in mind, and after holding them up, I decided to go with a chic pink print instead of an old Marilyn Monroe picture that didn’t quite fit. It was all about finding what reflects me!
Toy Hammock for Stuffed Animals
I found a cute toy hammock on Amazon to store my stuffed animals better. It was so satisfying to organize my collection into the hammock, clearing up space in my room and making everything look more organized and put together.
Beautiful New Curtains
For the finishing touch, I added new curtains to match my pink aesthetic. My previous curtains were not great and needed to be replaced. I found some adorable pink ones that were perfect, and once hung, they completed the look beautifully. I didn’t even need to cut them; they were perfect as they were!
New Bedding
Finally, I added some fun new bedding to my collection. It was so cute; it even looked like a dress! I mixed and matched different pillows to achieve a fluffy aesthetic while still incorporating silver elements to tie everything together.
The Final Reveal
The transformation turned out way better than I imagined. My bedroom is now vibrant, colorful, and unapologetically me! The room makeover brings so much happiness, and I love waking up to my little corner of sparkles.
Life is too short to fit into someone else’s mold—embrace what you love, whether it’s pink decor, vintage style, or anything else that reflects your personality. I hope this journey inspires you, and remember to always be true to yourself!
Thank you for joining me on this adventure—can't wait to see what I come up with next!
