Step-by-Step Guide:
Insert Image:
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Click on the "Insert" tab.
- Select "Pictures" to choose the image you want to insert.
- Click "Insert" to add the selected image to your document.
Crop the Image:
- Click on the image to select it.
- Go to the "Format" tab.
- Click "Crop" and adjust the cropping handles to trim the image as needed.
- Click outside the image to apply the crop.
Adjust Brightness and Contrast:
- With the image still selected, go to the "Format" tab.
- Click "Corrections" and choose a brightness/contrast preset (e.g., +40%).
- Choose a suitable color adjustment from the "Color" options.
Remove Background:
- Select the image.
- Go to the "Format" tab.
- Click "Remove Background".
- Adjust the selection box to cover the area you want to keep.
- Use "Mark Areas to Keep" and "Mark Areas to Remove" tools to refine the selection.
- Click "Keep Changes" once satisfied with the selection.
Set Background Color:
- Go to the "Insert" tab.
- Select "Shapes" and choose a rectangle.
