Introduction

Hello lovely people, welcome back to Hanso where I talk about all things related to graphic design and running my own freelance graphic design business. A few weeks ago, the team at Create Studio reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out their product, Create Studio. Create Studio is a video animation software where you can create videos, edit videos, and create animations, popups, 3D avatars, characters, and more.

My First Impressions

The thing I personally love about Create Studio is that it's really easy to use. It operates on a drag and drop system. They have a wide variety of elements that you can simply drag and drop onto your timeline and then edit. They also have many templates available for customization. You’ll see my first interactions with the software and how I created some really cool animations, intros, titles, characters, and avatars.

Getting Started

Download and Basics

First, I had to download the software to my computer and open it like a normal app. It greeted me with a really cool intro animation. The main interface opens up to various templates, showcasing what you can do in Create Studio. The templates are really diverse, including character explainer videos, specific animations, business templates, YouTube animations, and more.

Using Templates

I decided to start with a logo sting template for my Hanso logo. The interface was easy, simple, and straightforward. I replaced the placeholder logo with my own and changed the background to a nice gradient. In literally five seconds, I had a neat little intro video. I then exported it as an MP4.

Character Customization

Next, I wanted to create a customizable character. I felt like I was playing The Sims, customizing different assets like clothing and ensuring they matched my brand colors using hex codes. After creating my character, I chose a few actions like working on a tablet and talking on the phone. You can also customize facial expressions and add blinking to make it more realistic.

Transparent Backgrounds

I explored exporting animations on transparent backgrounds. Initially, exporting as MP4 did not retain transparency, but after experimenting, I realized that exporting in the WebM or MOV format worked perfectly. This allowed seamless integration into Premiere Pro.

Additional Features

Titles and Counters

I created titles and tested a variety of animations. The drag-and-drop functionality and customization options made these tasks quite easy.

Bubbleheads

I also made a fun Bobblehead animation by importing a PNG of my head cut out in Photoshop. Despite the simplicity of my initial creation, it worked seamlessly.

Final Thoughts

Create Studio is a powerful and user-friendly software for anyone looking to add interactive animations and elements to their videos. The all-in-one platform is perfect for integrating additional video assets quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be using Create Studio more for my YouTube channel.
