Journey from Darkness to Light

I wanted the end of The Power video to be set in a bright space to visually represent my journey from darkness to light across the songs on my new album. The transformation begins with the black void in the Courage video and culminates in my new studio, decorated entirely in white. This symbolizes my transition from struggle to empowerment.

Creating My Own Garden

In my studio, I created a garden out of paper flowers on the walls, inspired by an exhibition I saw at London's V&A Museum. This self-made installation serves as a powerful symbol of reclaiming and reintegrating all parts of myself into a healthier, happier, and more empowered person. It's a tangible representation of the safe space I'm creating for myself, and I'm excited for it to be my default backdrop for future videos.

Final Look and Symbolism

My final look for The Power video encapsulates all the changes I've undergone. I wore a red dress with red hair to symbolize the root chakra, grounding, and a greater knowledge and acceptance of my physical body. My earrings and pendant featured the symbols of Saturn, representing responsibility, structure, and long-term goals. Additionally, I wore my favorite Doc Martens boots, linking back to the Courage video to show that despite life's challenges, I am still here, still myself, and learning to stand strong.
