Welcome back to my micro channel, Art Whisperer 88. Today, I'm excited to share an unboxing video of watercolor pencils that I got from Amazon. This is something I have always wanted to try. So, let's get started!

When I do watercolor, I usually use the traditional watercolor paint and brushes, but I thought I'd give these a try. The watercolor pencils are made by a company called Arteza. I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly! Here's the box. It's nicely packaged and says 72 watercolor pencils. They call it "Expert," but I believe this is appropriate for anyone who wants to try, whether you're an expert or a beginner. The metal case reminds me of the biscuit or cookie tins. It has a nice hinge.

Now, let's see what we got inside. Oh, beautiful! There are the colors. As an artist, I always get excited when I see color. I think there are two levels, actually three.

Here’s the second layer, and oh, there’s the third layer. Cool. The first and second layers are almost identical, and you have the third layer which has gray tones and black, along with mustard, yellow ochre tones. And then you have these darker colors like forest greens, dark blue, and dark brown.

I can’t wait to try these out. I also like the little design here where you have two holes to insert your fingers to get to the second and third layers.
