Hey everyone, it's Pay here back with another video. Today, I'm finally going to be unboxing the Valve Index. I'm incredibly excited as I've been waiting for this moment for a while. So, let's dive right into it!

Firstly, I considered purchasing the Valve Index from Amazon, but the price was a bit outrageous—it was listed at $ 1,400. To be completely honest, this headset has some serious drawbacks.

Alright, let's lift the box and take a look at this. Here it is—the Valve Index. The presentation looks good; everything is well-organized and aesthetically pleasing. The first thing that strikes me is how clean and fresh everything looks.

Upon doing some pre-purchase research, I learned that while the headset offers some incredible features, it also comes with significant downsides. For instance, the cabling can become problematic over time and might eventually break. However, I still think it was worth the investment.

In the box, you'll find the headpiece, chargers for the controllers, arm straps for the controllers, and wall mounts. Surprisingly, the components are not as large as I initially anticipated, though the headset itself is bulkier compared to my Oculus Quest. Here's a quick comparison with my Quest headset:

When it comes to comfort, the Valve Index definitely outperforms the Quest. While the Quest can start to feel like you're pressing a brick against your head after prolonged use, the Valve Index feels much more comfortable.
