   • Navigate to "Assistant" on the left and click "Create new assistant."

2. Incorporate the Assistant in Make.com:

   • The automation triggers when a new comment is posted.
   • A router ensures that responding to your own comments (or those from specified usernames) is avoided.
   • A delay action is included to manage the response rate and prevent overwhelming Instagram.
   • The responses are initially generated using the standard ChatGPT but will be replaced by our tailored Assistant for richer interactions.

Enhancements and Fixes

Earlier issues included the auto-reply feature creating response loops. This has been fixed by checking the username of the commenter against your own, stopping the process if they match.

Advanced Improvements

There are two potential enhancements for more sophisticated responses:

1. Image Analysis:

   • By providing the image URL, the assistant can understand the context of the post and generate more relevant replies.

2. Conversation Threads:

   • Creating a thread ID for each comment allows the assistant to maintain the context of ongoing conversations, delivering more coherent replies.

1. Switch from the standard ChatGPT action to the new assistant in your Make.com scenario.
2. Paste your previous prompt into the assistant’s message input.
3. Delete the old module, map the response correctly, and you’re all set.
