Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm incredibly excited because I have a vintage unboxing for you. I'll be unboxing a new Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessoires. If you're familiar with my channel, you know that I collect Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessoires, and this will be my 11th piece!
I bought this bag on eBay for $ 350, which is quite a bargain considering that these bags typically range from $ 800 to $ 1,200. However, I am a bit nervous about its condition and the way it was shipped. The seller had a good reputation and positive feedback, but the images were dark, and the bag looked somewhat dirty. But for $ 350, I decided it was worth the risk.
The bag was shipped in a bubble poly mailer and only had one piece of tape sealing it. When I first opened the package, I was relieved to find that there were no unpleasant odors. The bag even looked better than I expected, with the graphics being bright and vivid.
However, there are some issues:
Despite these flaws, the rest of the bag was in pretty good shape. I'll put up some pictures to show these issues more clearly.
This bag is part of a collaboration with British illustrator and designer Julie Verhoeven, which debuted in the Spring/Summer 2002 runway show. Julie has worked with various high-end brands like Versace and Marc Jacobs, and she has a unique style that involves a lot of patchwork and fantasy elements. This particular collection was named "Contes de Fées," which means fairy tales in French.
I'm torn about keeping this bag. While the damage is disappointing, especially for such a collectable piece, the price was reasonable. The imperfections aren't too noticeable from a distance, and the rest of the bag is in decent shape. I might try to clean it up and see if I can make the damage less noticeable.
Now, I'm looking for your input. For $ 350, would you keep a bag with some damaged areas like this one, or would you try to return it? I'm debating it myself and would love to hear what you think!
Thanks so much for watching and reading. I look forward to your comments and suggestions. I'll see you in the next video!

The primary concerns were discoloration around the piping, minor interior spots, and noticeable damage to the leather on one part of the bag.

"Contes de Fées" translates to fairy tales in French and was the name of the collection Julie Verhoeven collaborated on with Louis Vuitton.
The bag appears to be authentic, but I plan to get it verified by a third-party authentication service.
The bag features patchwork designs incorporating various Louis Vuitton materials and vivid graphics, all elements typical of Julie Verhoeven’s artistic style.
