**Story content:** The sky city of Aelius uses the Oasis Core to extract moisture from the world below, sustaining its floating metropolis and luxurious lifestyle while leaving the desert city of Nether trapped beneath toxic sandstorms.Hoping to show her brother—who suffers from a deadly lung disease—the stars, a young scavenger named Mia infiltrates Aelius and steals the core. She soon discovers that it also powers the city’s anti-gravity system. In two minutes, the entire city will fall and crush Nether.With guards closing in, Mia leaps from the sky city and connects the core to an abandoned geothermal tower below. Water energy and geothermal heat form a new cycle, stopping Aelius in midair and clearing the sandstorm that has covered Nether for centuries.A gentle rain begins to fall.
