On the battlefield, Shiraha, a female ninja from the Paper Moon Clan, and Genzo, a swordsman from the Iron Rain Clan, crossed blades. As they fought, the familiarity of each other's techniques awakened their memories, revealing that they were once lovers who had lost their memories in a past war. Faced with a covert ambush from both of their clans, the awakened pair refused to fight each other any longer. Instead, they stood back-to-back and fought side by side, joining forces against the enemy in the pouring rain, and ultimately both perished in battle.
