Video Face Swap FAQ

What does this page do?

It is a video face swap page. The button opens Video Character Swap, which replaces the person in your clip, including the face.

Is this the same as body swap?

Video Character Swap replaces the whole person in the shot, so the face changes with the character. The separate body-swap wording lives on the Video Character Swap page. This page is for people searching for a video face swap.

Do I need a photo of the new face?

Yes. Upload a clear image of the face or character you want, plus the video that should receive it.

Will the original motion stay?

The tool is built to keep the motion of the target video while replacing the person and face.

Can I swap a face in someone else's video?

Only process videos and face images you own or have permission to edit.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes. Video Character Swap is available in the mobile Board, and the button on this page opens that tool.

Is this a deepfake downloader?

No. You upload your own files. Topview does not fetch a video from a link.

Is generation free?

Topview uses credits. The product shows the credit cost before you generate. This page does not promise unlimited free face swaps.
